Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike

Forget the hand-holding of modern fighters; Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike is a cold, beautiful, and demanding masterpiece. Originally a commercial underdog, this 1999 arcade legend evolved into the gold standard for competitive play. It’s defined by its fluid, hand-drawn 2D animation, a legendary jazz-hop soundtrack, and a high-stakes parry system that turns every match into a tense, frame-perfect chess match. It doesn't care if you're new or a veteran—it just demands you get better or get crushed. It is the ultimate test of rhythm, reaction, and pure, unadulterated skill.
