Sonic the Hedgehog

Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) is a legendary disaster that attempted to reboot the franchise with a cinematic, ambitious scope but crashed into a wall of technical incompetence. Intended as a grand 15th-anniversary spectacle, the game traps players in a bizarre, glitch-ridden world where physics are merely a suggestion and the camera acts like a panicked animal. While it features multiple playable characters and a sprawling narrative, the experience is defined by its unfinished state, infamous cutscenes, and a level of jank that has cemented its status as a fascinating, albeit broken, piece of gaming history.
