Resident Evil 2

Forget the clunky tank controls of the past; this is a total ground-up reconstruction of a survival-horror legend. You are dropped into a Raccoon City police station that has become a claustrophobic death trap, forcing you to guide Leon or Claire through blood-soaked hallways while managing a pathetic amount of ammo. It is a masterclass in tension, where every groaning zombie is a genuine threat and the constant threat of being stalked keeps your heart rate in the red. It is not just a nostalgia trip—it is a visceral, modern nightmare that proves classic horror still has teeth.
