That is the bizarre reality of Yaris, a 2007 promotional experiment for the Xbox 360. It is a strange hybrid of racing and arcade shooting that feels less like a traditional driving game and more like a fever dream of corporate marketing. While it is mostly remembered today as a relic of the early digital storefront era, it remains a fascinatingly weird footnote in gaming history for anyone curious about what happens when a car manufacturer tries to make a shooter.
